It is scheduled to be implemented in January 2012, is the first revision made to the Survey questionnaire since 1996.

Although the proposed new Survey questionnaire is paper-based, OTTI will continue to seek new methodologies for data collection.

Salient changes to the current Survey questionnaire are reflected in various questions relating to:

  • Trip Purpose;
  • Payment Methods;
  • Booking/Information Sources;
  • Demographics;
  • Assessment of the Visitor's Experience; and
  • Intentions for Further Travel to the United States
