Travel Barometer 2002 Arrivals and Forecast of 2003 Arrivals

The Travel Barometer forecasts travel demand to the U.S. from the United Kingdom, Germany, and Brazil for the first and second quarter of 2003. Included in the report is a year-end review of 2002 bookings.

The Travel Barometer Destination Subscription forecasts state and city specific travel demand and 2002 year-end bookings.

The Travel Barometer program provides a short-term forecast of travel demand for the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Germany. The quarterly survey gathers input from key in-market travel trade that sell and promote the U.S. to determine travel demand to the U.S. and select U.S. destinations and businesses.

The quarterly survey covers:
Travel demand
Package demand
FIT demand
Competitive demand
Barriers to travel
Actions needed to increase travel demand

Report Format:
Reports are in an electronic web-based format and can only be accessed using a unique user name and password. This method of reporting allows for timely delivery and 24/7 access.

Subscriptions - three subscriptions are available for each country:
Core Subscription: $800 (USD)
Destination Subscription $2,500 (USD)
Customized Subscription $4,999 (USD)

Subscriptions are available at http://tinet.ita.doc.gov/recovery.

Subscriptions are available at any time. Some restrictions apply to the Destination and Core Subscriptions.
