Tourism Industries would like to inform you of a web site that may be of interest to anyone interested in the international travel market to the United States. The site is called North American Journeys.

VisitNAJ.com (North American Journeys) is the only travel site designed to be used by international tour operators, media, and travel agents researching new ideas for products.

According to Tourism Industries (TI) 1999 data, 32% of the overseas vacation travelers to the U.S. used a package tour. For first time travelers to the United States, almost 35% used a package. Also according to TI data, the sources of information used by leisure travelers to the United States to plan their trip are: Travel Agent - 63%, the media (travel guides, newspapers/magazines and TV/Radio) - 27%, Friends & Relatives - 22%, the airlines directly - 14%, and the tour wholesaler - 13%

In addition to a monthly newsletter edited specifically for the international market, the site contains the following:
