Dependent upon U.S. Department of Commerce receipt of raw I-94 arrivals data from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Customs Border Protection (CBP), the I-94 monthly arrivals data are normally available approximately 80 days after the end of the reported month (e.g., January arrivals reported in mid-April). But technical problems are affecting I-94 Program data gathered by DHS/CBP and used by the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC)/National Travel and Tourism Office (NTTO) to calculate arrivals to the United States in 2015. NTTO takes its responsibility as the main source of arrivals data seriously and is working diligently with its CBP colleagues to resolve all of the problem issues. We believe that once we find resolution, our arrivals data will be more robust and timely than it has been in past years.

Beginning in 2015 I-94 monthly arrivals data are released as Preliminary, with these data subject to revisions that may be possible with improved solutions and/or sources discovered during the reported calendar year.

Next arrivals data release: DOC is scheduled to release January 2016 I-94 Arrivals Data in July 2016.

The data reports below integrate the volume of inbound International visitors to the United States from residents of other countries using three U.S. and International government sources: the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Customs and Border Protection I-94 arrivals program data, Statistics Canada’s International Travel Survey and Banco de Mexico travel data.
