Announcing "My Dream Vacation USA" Availability in Taiwan

Opportunity to Participate in Year 3 Program at Reasonable Rate

Greetings from Taiwan - a $1.2 billion dollar travel and tourism market for the U.S. and the 37th economy to be admitted to the Visa Waiver Program.

The Commercial Section of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), in partnership with the Discover America Committee in Taiwan, initiated the "My Dream Vacation USA" travel and tourism promotional program to encourage Taiwan travelers to look to the U.S. as a premier travel and tourism destination. Eight theme-based press events exploring a variety of topics including Food & Wine, Festivals & Entertainment, Monuments & Sites, the Great Outdoors, Shopping, Amusement & Theme Parks, Sports, and National Parks have been conducted generating more than 600 advertising equivalent media placements in the past two years, worth more than $500,000, in newspapers, trade and industry journals, online, radio, and television. Moreover, the My Dream Vacation USA website has already registered more than a half-a-million page views in which all of the participating USA destinations are highlighted.

This tourism promotion is now entering its third year and will focus on a “Four Seasons” theme.
